Business Development Manager

The Opportunity

Angoss is looking for a highly motivated and energetic Business Development Manager who will build and manage Angoss’ business development and lead generation representatives.  This individual will require the ability to navigate and a fast-paced environment.  Responsibilities will include building and managing the business development team, motivating the business development reps, delivering qualified opportunities and building pipeline.  This position requires strong communication skill, both verbal and written to deliver Angoss’ value proposition to key stakeholders outlining both immediate and long-term business value.


  • Managing business development representatives
  • Setting and tracking sales targets for the business development team
  • Suggesting and implementing improvements in sales administration
  • Meet or exceed assigned sales targets
  • Work strategically with sales management to deliver, forecast, identify opportunities and provide recommendations
  • Effectively qualify leads, identifying prospect requirements and engaging technical resources where required
  • Utilize internal CRM to provide accurate sales activities and opportunity updates
  • Keep informed of Angoss’ products along with competing products and industry trends
  • Identify opportunities within assigned territory and collaborate with sales teams to ensure growth attainment
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts
  • Accountable for customer engagement
  • Resolve issues within department and escalate if required
  • Recruitment of staff, manage all on-boarding  and continuous performance management
  • Focus on metrics and quantitative analysis

Skills and experience:

  • 5 years’ work experience in business to business environment
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent
  • Familiarity with sales process and SPIN selling methodology
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work with senior leaders
  • Ability to work in self-directed, fast-paced work environment
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
