The opportunity:

An exciting opportunity has become available to join a world class organisation which has recently established an APAC headquarters in Singapore.  We are in an exciting space supporting some of the top companies globally in improving their businesses through advanced analytics.  We are a small start-up team with big plans and we are looking for our newest team member, an Inside Sales Representative,  to share in this rewarding journey.

Reporting to the Sales Director of APAC, you will be accountable for generating sales-qualified leads and securing first meetings. This is an entry-level “hunter” role for a self-motivated, junior sales person looking to get their foot in the door with the opportunity to move into an account management role within 18-24 months.  

The Angoss Inside Sales Rep will be responsible for researching quality leads, making outbound prospecting efforts, setting and occasionally attending meetings and generally supporting the sales process. You will be primarily responsible for prospecting efforts for our entire suite of software & solutions across our key industry verticals, which include: financial services, insurance, retail, telecommunications and business services. Our buyers are influencers or decision-makers within functional business areas such as risk management, fraud, sales, marketing and operations.

Who you are and what your career path looks like:

You are a highly motivated, enthusiastic self-starter, eager to develop in your sales career. You have 1-2 years of experience in inside sales or lead generation and you enjoy working with people and technology. You want to be be part of a dynamic start-up team backed by a globally recognised technology solutions organisation. You are looking for the flexibility to shape your own career whilst helping shape our new region.

What you will do:

  • Gain a thorough knowledge of our company, our value proposition and target audience
  • Researching companies and contacts within our target verticals
  • Prospecting and qualifying sales opportunities over the phone and via email, working in close collaboration with Angoss executives and sales support team
  • Conducting high-level needs analysis and understanding prospects challenges to determine how Angoss’ software and services can meet those needs
  • Understanding the predictive analytics market and competitors
  • Understanding trends and business problems within key industry verticals
  • Providing account intelligence and participating in account strategy development
  • Documenting sales calls, activities and conversations in our CRM system

Our new Inside Sales Representative has:

  • Proficiency in inside sales and rapport building with excellent telephone and written manner
  • 1-2 years of previous telephone prospecting experience in a business to business environment
  • Professional and mature with the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
  • Self-motivated, highly organized & able to work independently and as part of a team
  • High degree of computer literacy, knowledge of Salesforce.com an asset
  • Detail oriented with accurate data entry and sales reporting skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, adept at engaging senior executives
  • University / College degree in: business (with sales, marketing or finance major), statistics or mathematics
  • Quick learner, ability to grasp business concepts and high level understanding of analytics & software applications
  • Excellent command of English language (written & spoken), Mandarin an advantage
  • An interest in Big Data Analytics
